Crash
In Los Angeles, racism and the serious violence is not far from each other. A group if 8-10 city people some how comes in contact with each other in 24 hours.
One of the main characters is the police detective Graham Waters that works for LAPD. He’s mother is worried about his little brother, and wants Graham to find him. Then there is police detective Ryan that pulled over a car for no realistic reason, and humiliated a dark skinned woman in the car.
The main conflict is racism and misunderstanding. It couldn’t be solved, but there was a time-point where the characters kind of thought about their way of thinking and still learned a thing or two.
There are many minor conflicts, the Persian man for example that gets very upset. Actually that mad that he wanted to shoot the Mexican guy. All that of just misunderstandings.
It is in Los Angeles, and conflicts of racism and discriminations is usually in L.A.
So people actually can see and realize how things really are in the world. And also how small misunderstandings can create so much unnecessary things and conflicts.
I got kind of chocked, because it was so clear how they did things because of their prejudices. It also made me realize how much things like this that happens everywhere.
